Slowly finishing up my lobster season.
I've removed half of the traps out of the water so far.
Both keepers are still full, have caught 14 this week. And only gave away 9.
Looks ( if the seas calm down and the so does the wind ) I'll be completely out of the water by Saturday, except for one trap that I hang under the local wharf. That one I can row out to haul in my pram.
That can stay in until Halloween, by Nov. 1st everything has to be out.
It has been the best year for lobster since I started in 1972.
