House hold credt card debt is 1.26 trillion. Student loan debt is 1.86 trillion dollars. A lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck and have very little savings.

You can't talk about government spending. Some do, but generally nobody cares. Just look how Democrats reacted to DOGE. Half the country thinks money from the government magically comes to them. They vote to keep that going and keep themselves on the plantation.
