Wouldn’t be the first time. You act like this is something new. Again, I spent the first three or four years of my career laid off until as late as May some years I work in a large building so I was able to work inside. Annoying for sure, but not the end of the world.

And yet I’m here and I was laid off. You’re acting like it’s new. Like people should be afraid like we don’t have language for this in our contracts.

I got laid off every year for 3 years, right after peak. I worked 9 months every year until I made the seniority list. I’d have killed somebody if asked, to make that fuckin list, luckily I finally got in.
