Yep, that’s another problem, but I believe the biggest issue is the company knew all along these were both illegal and noncontractual. They realize that either the union or the NLRB or both would eventually file grievances or file a labor dispute.. the company covered their investment by requiring the people that signed it to give it back, pure evil in my opinion. The NLRB does not require the union to petition them if they feel someone has violated labor law. Direct dealing under a union contract is a violation of labor law
