It’s a pretty tough game. I fought long and hard for my brother who had a stroke and is a mess, even with an attorney he was denied a couple times.
Far too often people with real problems get denied. Usually when its a physical problem. The welfare crowd knows the easiest way is to claim mental issues. Which seldom gets denied.

I will never forget a young woman(27) who used to come in my convenience store who bragged and laughed about getting SSI for her “anger management” problems. Supposedly she beat up a coworker when she worked at Walmart. Pissed me off so bad. lol.
