If you were able to pick any diad to use, which one would you pick?
V by far for a lot of reasons, paper, VI then III.

Diad 5 for sure. But a Diad 5 with some of the upgrades done to the 6 would have been ideal.
O
Diad III. AMYONE THAT has used all of them would tell you those were the least amount of problems, and just worked.

III was a huge improvement over the previous two but it got really slow when they tried to make it do more than it was designed for. IV was better in a lot of ways but it did have a really annoying keyboard.

III was also the last DIAD that was useful for smacking dogs.

It was the last one that was made on driver input.

Annoying keyboard....toggle button? I think that's where that came in right?

I know on BC I mentioned a Brother that I go fishing with a couple of times a year has a near Mint DIAD 1 in his possession.

DIAD IV was my favorite.
I kept them in operation for use at the customer counter long after everyone else had switched to Diad V.

That’s just your speed.

I never used 6, so I guess DIAD 5. I remember going from paper to DIAD 1, I didn't like it. They let us take them home and play with them. I split the case to see how they were put together. I found these today while digging through a drawer looking for something.

I don't know if you can call yourself a real UPS driver if you've never done 50 lines on paper, carbon paper, know your area numbers, and had no mark-overs.
