ESPP worth it?

You think it’s worth buying company stock? Seems like shareholders are the only people the company cares about. They probably loading up on it while it’s low. Lower labor costs, robots.

Diversification is key. You already have quite a bit invested in UPS by having a career here. What if you lost your job and your shares in UPS lost 50% of their value at the same time? The employee discount on stock is nice and there's nothing wrong with owning a couple shares of UPS if you want to, but make sure you're putting eggs in many different baskets first.

That might come in real handy with the cutbacks coming up at this place.

Then you sabe for retirement hopefully some in the ROTH option.
Then if you have a little left over maybe put a few bucks into UPS stock

UPS stock in garbage if you would’ve put your money in a good mutual fund over the last two years you would’ve done much better.

The days of UPS stock being a solid retirement investment are over here for the foreseeable future.
