Maybe they need summer coverage for your 5 route center.
OK, we have people who still have the old date, and some with the new.One guy called, and they told him don't worry about the date, it doesnt mean anything yet. They said we will know sometime this week.
Like you don't need anytime to file your pension paperwork...
I bet they have 50 operators to take all these phone calls when one IT guy could simply post it on the website...
Operators in India work cheap

If it means nothing then why even bother adjusting it? Not buying it.
ARTICLE 4-MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS
The Employer agrees that all conditions of employment in their indi-
vidual operation relating to wages, hours of work, overtime differen-
tials and general working conditions shall be maintained at not less
than the highest standards in effect at the time of the signing of this
Agreement, and the conditions of employment shall be improved
wherever specific provisions for improvement are made elsewhere in
this Agreement. It is agreed that the provisions of this Section shall
not apply to inadvertent or bona fide errors made by the Employer or
the Union in applying the terms and conditions of this Agreement if
such error is corrected within ninety (90) days from the date of error.
Any disagreement between the local union and the Employer, with
respect to this matter, shall be subject to the grievance procedure.
This provision does not give the Employer the right to impose or
continue wages, hours and working conditions less than those con-
tained in this Agreement.
I'll tell you what else pisses me off. There are sub contractors (Gypsies) pulling loads out every night and it's not even Peak. Stealing our work, and this is no problem with the union.BUT... the company actually wants to give us a little extra money, and this IS a problem.I get it, the union didnt get a cut. But isnt the two scenarios above a little ass backward?
Just curious, but by any chance those "Gypsie's" union? Maybe not Teamsters, but there are other Unions in Massachusetts correct? My Dad worked for Local 4 Int. Union of Operating Engineers.
