Thats what your wife called it....

Because it kept drifting out of the hole?

Last year for the thrift plan.

Think it was around for some years after that. Stopped taking out for the plan sometime in early 95 possibly. Think there were some law suits also and guys or their estates did not let them take the thrift plan money out and put it into stock. That may have extended the actual plan for some years after.

Agreed. I'm sure I remember no longer being able to contribute, but they couldn't make you withdraw your money from the plan.

I remember them wanting you to roll it over into ups stock

I remember them wanting you to roll it over into ups stock

If I remember correctly ?

It was paying like 20% interest and you could roll it into something ?

Dumbest mistake I made was not getting in on that.

But, back then as a broke PT.... that was a gallon of milk, loaf of bread, dozen eggs, and bag of potatoes.

It did pay well that I remember. When they decided to end it I didn't have a ton of cash into it and they wanted us to roll it into stock at which I was told I didn't have or wasn't in it long enough, but somehow when I cashed mine in I ended up with 28 shares of stock and a check for $2500. Which I was pissed because I would've put it all into it at that time. It ended up splitting some years down the road(when it went public maybe?)and I sold it for a good profit when I needed money for something.
