You get rid of 2 of them right away, April 26.
The other 7 you save, and get rid of on the same date, Sept 26. Does this sound dumb to anyone else? Lose 7 guys right before Peak? On the same day?
Wouldnt it have been wiser to let maybe 2 go per month? A gradual reduction?

Well if you think like UPS no they did it exactly right. No way can they train 7 drivers before peak.....so we hire contractors.....right?

This is why you send in paperwork earlier than you plan on retiring so you can see what the numbers will be. You can always move back the date after you see how long you need to work.
