My last disability check came on Sept. 30th ( 2015 ) and my first pension check ( Oct 1st, 2015 ) was direct deposit into my account.
No gaps.
Plus since I was under 62, the Union gave me an extra $1K a month to help offset my medical bills. For 18 months.

I was out on disability from March 17th to Sept 30th, 2015.
For foot surgery, plantar fasciitis. ( which didn't work )
My PT even told me that I was never be able to return to work, so I submitted my papers to retire.
I will say that getting those disability checks for awhile were slow, my doctor dropped the ball.
I had to beg a nurse to push him along. In the meanwhile I cashed in a life insurance policy for its cash value to get by.

I got my buyout money and my vacation for next year direct deposited. I left at the end of June and got paid for 3 weeks vacation for next year. It took 2 weeks.
My remaining time for 2026 I had them pay me out a couple of weeks before I retired.
I didn't even get an email or a letter or even a paystub.
What the hell? Next day air when I get home. $5,000. Is this what they owe me for next years pro rate???

Isn't it 156 reports for the year gets all vacation for next year? He should've had that by Sept.
