If everyone who has stated that they applied for the buy out is accepted, just how many posters here will still be active ?
Let me rephrase this.
Just how many posters here will still be actively employed ?

Question for You or @bigunionguy, UPS is downsizing don’t you think the union should also? Maybe merge 705 and 710, not sure what negatives would come out of that.
I don't want you retards in my union. Go away

If you were in 710, you'd know what happened the last time they tried to absorb some of our territory elsewhere.
Pretty sure Del is uninterested, unless it's bringing 705 into 710.

You mean Indiana?

Lol, and give up the gravy train?
What might happen is, cutting back on leadership jobs as membership numbers decline.
Might happen, but probably not.

They did not back the winning horse... Lol.
Pretty sure that's actually the reason WHY national tried to split part of 710 off.
All's fair in love and politics.

Only UPS Teamsters are declining.
Many locals have other industries that are growing members.

I voted for O’Brien. Merging the 2 locals would make pension stronger right? 710 is multi employer fund, not sure about 705.

Why is it that UPSer's think they are the only company that the Teamsters Union represents?
....and of all locals to consider merging, L705 and L710 are huge and certainly not in any discussions (outside of this ridiculous thread) .
If anything we're to happen at these locals, it would be to layoff an agent, maybe.

Why do you act like a know it all jackass? This is a discussion form, right? Could be ridiculous to you but I think it’s a valid argument.

Maybe because he knows? Someone has to be right someone has to be wrong.
