Two news about Florida, one I think is cool and the other I don’t think is a great idea, but curious about everyone’s thoughtsDesantis is proposing ending property tax. I’ve always hated the idea of property tax. Working all your life and owning a home, but still owing to the government the rest of your life pisses me off. Although I’ve brought up the idea to some conservative family and they were surprisingly against it, saying it will just create higher taxes elsewhere and also allows landlords to sit on property for long periods of time and reduces housing for other people.Florida just announced they’re ending vaccine mandates for public schools.
