Worst UPS nightmare/fun thread

I have learned I am not alone.I will be retired 9 yrs Jan 3, after 33+..I had the worst dream/nightmare last night. I was on my normal route. It was a blizzard, normal in Ohio. For some reason, I was training. My guy was great person. But he was huge. I'm not teeny, so it didn't really bother me..But his seat belt didnt fit and a buzzer kept going off. And he had a hard time getting ouf the door. He had no training at all. Every stop I pulled up to, could not find..at noon, I had 2 stops off. I don't know when we left building. Finally went to a bulk stop, tool and die with about 15 over 100 pds. We got them out, then he started throwing in dies, that were just laying around. I'm like no,no that's not how it works.Then I looked at my board and it was time to make pick ups at 20 places that closed between 2 and 3. , that they added to my route, in another town. I called center they said just do it. Then I got followed..Got alerts for nda, back on my route oca, pick up by 1.
..It was 400am..I got up. Got a drink of water, laid back down, nightmare resumed. I can't believe that place still haunts me. Got up at 430, made coffee, showered and went shopping. 9 degrees out. Don't miss it at all. Happy peak to everyone.

After 10 years those nightmares do go away.

Been gone almost eight years and so far this is the first Christmastime I haven't had any UPS nightmares. When I was there the nightmares were usually running around in the dark delivering all the stuff I didn't finish. These days it's usually something stupid and random like preload calling and asking if I can come in and I'm conflicted because I'm already on my way to my current job.

I'm just starting my sixth year of retirement. My UPS nightmares usually involve when I starting driving in 1984-2000, meaning the management and drivers back then. A lot of those dreams involve working with Helpers on the car, I always hated working Helpers, Peak Season, and it getting dark early. The nightmares usually involve having one or two Helpers on my car. Its getting dark and the pile of boxes in the back keep increasing all day. I had one a few weeks ago where I couldn't leave the Hub. I would get caught trying to escape over the fence, and forced to go back to work in the building. This has got to be a form of PTSD of some form. Probably due to being stressed out as a younger driver before finally figuring how screwed up UPS is run. They always have these great plans to make things better but the people in charge don't really know what they are doing.

Had a dream many yrs ago that i had a miss load Next Day Air for Mass General Hospital
i didnt deliver it . Came back to the building and my sup pointed me out to The FBI ,,,,
that's him !!!
i was tackled and cuffed and charged with murder. !!
the Pkg was a heart for a transplant !!
almost 30'yrs ago and still remember that one
