I set up a Login.gov account a long time ago when Social Security stopped sending out yearly statements. It was also good for setting up Medicare. SSA and Medicare are closely linked.

Yep, I use Login.gov for SSA. Medicare luckily quite a few years away.

Don’t think they have ever used Login.gov or id.me. I just drove a package car so may be wrong. Logging on is usually a account letter(Legendary) or number, virtual keyboard, onetime passcode and password.

Email info to account holders is probably staggered for this. Mine came today about 1pm and I was waiting for your announcement. Guess some are Legendary and some are not.✊
