Get off the tip...

Before the contract?

I got my Social Security card for my drivers license at 16 and never needed it again until recently. I don't think I even needed to show it to UPS back when they used SSN as employee numbers.

Now they issue them when you are born. Back them we didn't need one until we got a job

I almost wonder if I should take a trip over there. There's gonna be way too many stores to bring in refrigerated semis.

I wonder if there's any fire sales on meat out that way.

Do it.

Before the strike, you mean?

Sounds like a good idea to me.

There were a couple of jobs people could work at 14. And there were always farm jobs that didn't worry about ages. You needed to be 18 to work at industrial type jobs.

Needs to happen.

The company has been chipping away at the union for 29 years.

If there is no strike in 2028, it'll just mean that the company managed to wear them down a little more. I don't think there's any way to fix the corporate mindset without (metaphorical) violence.

If there's no strike, it means the company will have gotten what they want. Again.
