The deadline to apply or remove your name from consideration is the 15th of March at 1159 pm. (in case no one knew that)
• They will start sending out approvals and denials on March 17th. They are going to send notices to the email on file and if no such email exists, they will use snail mail to notify you.
• They expect to have all approvals and denials done within two weeks.
• THERE HAVE BEEN NO APPROVALS OR SEPARATIONS YET (as of 03-11-2026)
• Once approved, you WILL BE SEPARATING FROM UPS. If denied, you lose nothing and keep your job at UPS.
• If after approval, you try to revoke, you WILL STILL be separated from UPS however, you will separate without the $150k.
• Payments should be made within 1-4 weeks but could take longer if a center is losing a bunch at one time.
• The low and mid level managers are not being told what magic number they are looking for. The person I spoke to said that executive and junior executive level and some regional management are the ones in the know (right now).
• If you are having questions about retirement or health benefits, you are advised to reach out to each respective agency to find out more for your district and local.
