I didn't eff anybody. We have so many extras every day because of the cut routes. They just take work off the people that are fucked and Frankenstein together some bullshit routes with a bunch of left-ins. If anything it did someone a favor giving them a chance to work today.
I didn't ask for help btw. Management told me to take x y and z off and leave it on the slide.
My first bid route was an industrial route with massive pickups. Had it for 3 years. Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you should. I'm using my seniority. Got off that route and out of that center as soon as I could.
I'm not getting younger. I'm 36 not 26. I'm nit here for a dick measuring contest. I want the easiest day possible minimizing the wear and tear on my body. I'm very fortunate to have no injuries in my career and to be able to wake up every day with minimal pain. I hate the drivers that say "I used to do 200 on that route no problem " like okay... Good for you motherfucker.
