In the 1997 contract, UPS and Union agreed to create thousands of new inside jobs as well. It took three years and a lawsuit to get UPS to comply.I don’t know why anyone would think this company would honor their contract any other way. This is par for the course for them. Dishonorable and zero integrity from them while demanding it from everyone else.
Why does the union allow it to get that far every time instead of demanding more guarantees for the future?
If the company cannot be trusted to honor that language, there needed to be FAR more teeth on that language, or we NEEDED to strike.
